Over this past weekend, James surprised Lily and me with a little getaway to Bremerton, WA. After weeks of sickness in our home it was a very nice, relaxing retreat! We stayed the night at a hotel, took Lily to the pool, enjoyed a little St. Patrick’s Day festivity, toured the U.S.S. Turner Joy and ate at an authentic Boston Deli & Pizza place.
The weather was just right…well it could have been a few degrees warmer, but it wasn’t raining and the sun was shining! So no complaints Lily was very good too and enjoyed being outside and looking at all the cool stuff in the ship. If you are ever in Bremerton; we highly recommend the tour of the U.S.S. Turner Joy and getting a bite to eat at Boston Deli & Pizza. The service was excellent and the owners are straight from Boston, just moved here 6 years ago to open this great place!
